Board at Sunriseby rider808Comment by KristinaG: Really great idea! I think with some experimentation you could really get a fantastic shot out of this! In my opinion, its not quite there yet. I think the picture is a little too wide, there is too much uninteresting material here like the sky, blurry shore line etc, that draw the eye away from what is fantastic about this photo, which is the play of light across the water drops on the board. The highlights of the drops and shadows on the board is lovely.
I would like to see a slightly lower perspective to put more emphasis on the drops more. A cloudy sky might also add some nice colors and add some interest to the rest of the picture that isn't composed of board.
Keep chugging along, I really think you are getting somewhere with this shot. 6 |

Ringerby rider808Comment by Sheryll: Wow, nice catch!! If I weren't going through all the images in the challenge and commenting I might have missed this. Not a fan of the border here but wow what a catch. The flying sand makes for great texture as well as the rusted pole and horseshoe in the background. Excellent. |

Ringerby rider808Comment by Teafran: A good and different entry into the challenge, the image prodived both aspects of technical and artistic success. The image does have the apperance of being slightly over sharpened on the vertical axis of the stake. An ingenious approach and a good action shot make this a worthy entry into the challenge with top twenty potential. |
