Valley of Deathby darnokComment by ruridk80: Great B/W, maybe a bit too dark the upper part of sky compared to the rest of the image. A really good work! |

Valley of Deathby darnokComment by CNovack: Branches stretch to the sky.
Roots radiate out across earth.
I thirst for touch
of my fellow kind.
In sight, but far from reach.
What struck me as interesting in this shot is that the tree in the foreground seems to be reaching out in branch, root, and even the shadow to it tree brethren scattered far apart in the landscape. It makes the scene even more parch and desolate. |

Valley of Deathby darnokComment by LalliSig: Very nice, this shot is awesome, would also make a perfect surrounding for a fashion shoot, where is this? |

Seaside Abodeby darnokComment by HarveyG: Hi Konrad. Take the skew buildings away and this would (again) be right up there. May I suggest trying another but get the building perspective straight and see how it would do? Advanced editing allows it I think. Or shoot more sky and less earth, to get the buildings in the middle of the frame where there's less distortion. I thought long and hard before getting my Tokina 12-24mm f/4 ATC PRO DX due it's distortion, but then I seldom photograph buildings with it. I prefer to use the 28mm DG Sigma (=42mm on DX) for that. Saves me PP :) |
