I like this shot, but I probably would've cropped out the ceiling/rafters and fan. I don't see how this scored a <5, though. There does seem to be a little scarring on the subject's jaw.

I can see why this bombed score-wise......you have to get into the image and feel the moment. Doesn't happen in the two to three second voting window. Quite a nice capture of an intense time IMO.

I like the relaxed mood and the story behind the picture, but bear in mind that this kind of shots that are of photojournalism quality do not score high at DPC.

I like the sentiment expressed here. It was one of those shots I spent a bit more time on during the challenge, simply because it did indeed have a story to tell. You know how to score here so I'm not about to tell you things that would have increased your score. But I do agree that a mid 5 would be far more appropriate than what you ended up with. Kinda sad statement about the voting population if you ask me.
