It feels as if the image needs to be tilted to the left just a bit, but the pole is straight, so I am just assuming it is where you are standing that creates that effect (and the angle of the shot).

This shows very overexposed on my screen. If it was toned down (ha ha, get it? Down? No, OK, never mind). Anyway, if it was toned down, I think it would be a really nice image.

I've been doing an experiment by submitting bird images to challenges. Well I know this image is a pretty good bird image yet it scores badly. I have another bird image now and it's scoring even worse. Lesson learned: Only submit birds to wildlife challenges. Guess I will for the next few weeks go back to formulaic DPC images (landscape or simple studio).
