Falling wild flowerby
fredahenryComment by kari1: ::: Critique Club :::
Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club.
First Impression - the most important one:
Leading lines are good .. but this is really a very centred image with the break in the stems being the focus.
Composition:
Centred ... i think the best thing is to goodle rule of thirds .. and see what is said about it ... I normally have a URL but am not at home at the moment ... but it is a really good concept and really helps when setting up shots.
Subject:
It meets the challenge but i am like the other commentors .. where is the flower which is falling .. I would dearly like this in the image to complete it. You don't always have to thave the whole image there but in this case it really does feel like it is missing.
Technical (Colour and light):
The colours are lovely, and the lighting is good, but the focus feels a little soft.
To grow its vote?:
Include the crux of the image ... take a look at composition and how you can work to improve it.
Summary:
Good shot ... keep it up.
