In the shadowsby IreneMComment by senor_kasper: I thought this would ribbon. Personally I love the fact that you can make out the hat in your imagination (without even thinking about it) prompted only by the lower outline and the ribbon around it, so, the fact that the rest of it blends with the background is an added feature, the way I see it.
This excellent portrait is another example of the amazing diversification process we are witnessing of Irene.
Rembrandt (obviously) did not have studio lights at his disposal, only windows; so did Irene for this picture.

In the shadowsby IreneMComment by timfythetoo: I use spongebob fruit snacks to bribe the kids. Maybe you should use them next time. ;) And dangit - a couple more points to add to your tally. Very nice image Irene. |

Water Chemistry by IreneMComment by Drummond: Great quality image. The subtle colours are really pleasant. On my computer screen there is a little parallelogram distortion. |

Water Chemistry by IreneMComment by Ceefore: Very clean shot, the toning really works well for it. The different elements of the photo come together nicely, the smaller bubbles inside the syringe add some texture to it, the larger ones form great shapes which hold the interest of the viewer well. I might have preferred this a bit more with a steeper incline angle to the syringe but overall its a great shot - 8. |
