Tranquility by IreneMComment by AmeedEl-Ghoul: Didn't vote at this challenge, but if I did, I would've gave this a good fat 10 :)

Tranquility by IreneMComment by IreneM: Originally posted by sprite777: Hey - is the noise level here straight out of the cam, or did you use neatimage or something? my d700 is on its way, and i'm stoked about the ISO performance. |
For you and and1tricker: I did use a very slight touch of neatimage for this shot, not because of noise, more to enhance the Zen effect. The ISO performance of the D700 is excellent. When I got my D700, I was experimenting with the ISO possibilities and found that ISO 800 is the sweet spot. I wish you lots of fun with your D700 when it arrives - you're going to love it ;-) |

Way up highby IreneMComment by IWhispered: I haven't been a fan of the black and whites but I like this. The dark clouds. Give it an ominous stormy sort of feeling. I can't decide whether the tree(s) on the left is/are distracting or a nice frame. |
