Down The Tracksby xstreamComment by Jaded_Housewife: great lines and contrast. the lack of interest in the sky hurts a bit but a really cloudy busy sky would take away too much too so i'm kind of undecided about that. the rest is wonderful. a nice moody/lonely feel to it. |

Across The Fieldby xstreamComment by pamelasue: I really like your processing here ... gives it a very "moody" feel ... my only suggestion would be to straighten the horizon, other than that I love it! Nice shot ... |

Across The Fieldby xstreamComment by glad2badad: I enjoy reading the story behind the photograph. Thanks for sharing that. :D Some of my favorite images are those captured just as you have done here, spur of the moment, quick stop. Even better, years from now this will remind you of your road trip. Nicely done.
Smile and keep having fun! :-) |

Lake Panoramaby xstreamComment by PHOTOKID: Nice Capture, I took this into photoshop to get a better look at the stictching and you did a really good job wiith it. Very nice colors in the sky and water, If there only was a boat or something to hold the interest this would be an awesome shot.
Good Job,
Rich

Sunrise Across The Lakeby xstreamComment by xstream: Originally posted by drewbixcube: Nice color in both the sky and reflection in the water. Your foreground objects are silhouetted nicely, except for the light colored band (curb, road, fence?) at the bottom of the photo. But that can be cloned out. You might try shooting again from a lower perspective, to get more of the bush and grass/flower (on the left) to silhouette against the water. Also play with shutter speed to give the water a softer or sharper look if you want.
ETA: Did you fix that band or was my monitor playing tricks with me? |
Nope, I haven't updated the photo since I uploaded it the first time. And for the record, that is a sidewalk the runs across there. Nice eye. |

Football Pre-Gameby xstreamComment by kenskid: DOF and sharpness are great. Unless you were trying for the "dark" look, I'd use contrast mask or a shadow-highlight tool to bring a little light to the guys. |

Through The Woodsby xstreamComment by ArpeggioAngel: Nice balance between earth and sky for this photo. Like the contrast of the sky and clouds although the trees are just a tad dark IMHO. |

Across The Bridgeby xstreamComment by ArpeggioAngel: I like the perspective of this shot - not just a normal head-on bridge shot. The curve of the road leaves the viewer wondering what is around the bend. |
