I gave this image a seven and I know you are going to wonder why it wasn't a ribbon winner. So I feel compelled to comment. First, this image is technically perfect, the lighting, the focus, the placement of the subject. However, the use of seamless paper in the background works against this image. It takes away from the spontaneity that you are trying to convey by making the picture looked posed. I have no doubt that you had the subject move around and freeze when the music stopped but it just doesn't come across with this background. A neutral colored background may have worked better.
