Triptech.jpgby BenComment by timfythetoo: These are great pictures but as a triptych I am not sur eif they work. The end images work well but the center image is just so far different in processing. If that one wasnt so high key it would feel better (for this setup that is - i love the high key aspect when viewing on its own). And I will echo Ursula - I am amazed every day at how much my little girl and boy have and are growing. And yours does seem to have a great feel for the camera. You will surely get alot more knockout pictures. |

Selfby BenComment by talj: I too agree with the ladies below! But, I'd also like to see thisin landscape orientation with you to the far right of the frame or possibly in portrait format but with you standing a little close to the edge of the frame (imho) :o) |

Chatsworth Houseby BenComment by talj: And standing in the water? lol :o)I like your composition here and some how the people help to give that warm summers day feel to the image. Did you use a polariser? Only thing I would suggest is a smaller aperture (larger number) to get a greater DOF. For landscape stuff I tend to use up from F16. |

Self Portait 2by BenComment by talj: Great lighting, detail and processing. The BW suits the subject nicely. For some reason I want to see less of the shoulders and more of the eyes, but thats probably just me! |

Eye Contactby BenComment by JerseyGenie: Great shot, however, I don't think the border wqas necessary. In fact I think it is a bit distracting. Love the difference between the full on eyes and the cast away eyes and the in focus vs out of focus. Good job. |

Eye Contactby BenComment by Jason_Cross: The "aspect ratio" crop is cool. It makes this seem like a movie. Really gets your mind to working. I am definitly going to learn from this shot. |
