Sorry I didn't make it back during the challenge to bump this up. I really thought this would score higher. I should have known it was Mexico. You've beautifully captured the tones and texture of the building. The dappled sunlight adds to the image also. Really like this one...

Wonderful light, wonderfully captured - although I'm not sure the herd of voters is going to give your image the time to see that. I find the blockiness of the sky a shame - would have thought a more gently graduated element there would have been more sympathetic - though I understand the restrictions. Strong compositionally - perhaps, for me, even too bluntly so. I also wonder if there's quite enough allowed for the restrictions of the medium here - the file and image size, and the inevitable result that images that rely on complex interaction of elements and detail are like to loose that impact under those restrictions. nice work though; would like to see it at a more natural size and resolution.

Very soft and pretty light, it makes something hard and crusty appear soft and forlorn...the flowers are nice too.

Nice perspective and the lighting is wonderful. The textures make the photo so interesting. The only distraction in the photo is the blown-out sky, which we couldn't do anything about in basic editing! (I hate basic editing!) BOL

I would have used a W instead of an M
