great point by JDanniels below....definitely make sure you aren't compressing your images too much b/c it will cause those artifacts. Great image here though...love the repetition, color, and lines.

I love the DOF on this photo. The silhouettes are nice also. The sky looks very cool, just not sure on all the yellow. Would have liked to see a bit more of the sky in a more realistic tone. I might have cropped tighter on the right to eliminate the cars. I do like this photo!

This image seems to be oversharpened in my opnion...especially if you look around the wires and lights. Either that or the image itself is compressed too much. I like the clouds and the colors, although the overall image seem a little too yellow where the blues in the sky are.

very good the image on the pepper but I see a bad shadow. a small gray line on the top left of the image and the pepper shadow isn't good. perhaps my monitor (an emergency monitor)have too much brightness. 7

even those in another country would be well aware of it. i was in botswana, and home from school early. my husband called me and said; turn on the radio. we kept it on bbc world service, so the news was continuous that day. prettyquickly, everyone without a tv was congregating at the golf club, as they had satellite there. so we could watch the horrible images, commiserate, and drink. due to the prevalence of 24 hour news networks, i think there are very few places in the work that didn't know about 9/11 instantaneously.

a great photo, my dear. i'm also not a huge fan of flag waving, but manage to lok past it for this shot. well done.

I've seen tons of peppers but the color variation is very nice. I'd have a bit more neg space below the pepper.
