Please Don't Take my Mousie Again!!by kandyjComment by jmsetzler: This is a cute cat photo... it's a little difficult to see 'despair' from a pet :) The composition here is nice, but the contrast between the cat and the background is a little weak... - setzler |

Please Don't Take my Mousie Again!!by kandyjComment by paynekj: It's a very good picture of the cat, but it doesn't meet the challenge very well. I don't see despair here, I see a contented cat. In fact this would have done well in the Stock Photo challenge- I could quite easliy see this ending up on a cat calendar. |

Reflected Roseby kandyjComment by joanns: See, here's the difference between soft focus and out-of-focus. Beautifully done soft focus rose. Perfect lighting and exposure. |

Reflected Roseby kandyjComment by rmahan: Very nice shot but I don't see much use in the "stock" world unless it's used to illustrate this particular type of flower. In my opinion, for stock use, the cropping is too tight for an editor to work with easily. The colors are quite attractive, though and technically it is an excellent picture. |

Reflected Roseby kandyjComment by SharQ: Try to be a little bit more creative with your lighting, and make sure you get a wider tonal range than this. Also, using a longer shutter time and smaller aperture might have helped you to get it all sharp. Also try to use a good level of USM. (4) |
