CJE_20060511-4-pic.jpgby justamistereComment by Retroesque: Thank you for sharing your son with us.
I'm SO SORRY that you've had to loose such a blessing - so young.
I cannot imagine (actually don't want to imagine) loosing my children.
I admire your attitude.
I loved that you wore sandals to his funeral.
How tragic. My thoughts are with you and your family. I'm sure there is a hole in your hearts that can never be repaired.
I'm glad to hear that the memories you have of him are of a strong, joyful young man.
Peace |

The Ringby justamistereComment by JulietNN: nice shot, like his expression, her head is at the wrong angle though, cos it makes it look like she has a stumpy neck. Crisp clean lines, nicely sharpened. well done |

The Ringby justamistereComment by Citadel: Right on! I was hoping to see an entry from the Calgary workshop. Great image and I like subtle interaction between the models. |

ChristmasCard2008_AFTER.jpgby justamistereComment by SandyP: Ohmygosh, John! You did an amazing job. It is amazing how much it looks like they are flying through a snowy wintery sky!
Are you going to set up a Christmas card shop now? I think you might just have an amazing clientelle :) |

CJE_20060511-4-pic.jpgby justamistereComment by SandyP: John, somehow, I missed your heartbreaking tragedy. Whenever I hear of someone I know having to face this kind of loss, it feels like someone stabbed me in the heart with a knife. Your son was beautiful! I am still crying 4 months after my cocker spaniel died, I honestly don't know how one survives something of this magnitude.
I wish a hug could make it better. But even 4 years after it happened, I bet somedays the hurt still feels like it just happened yesterday. :(
