Not getting why you only left one in color? I usually see selective desat as a way to convey a message or make something important stand out. To m it would make more sense if you left a fruit in color that was different ffrom the apples or something like that.

Very soft, and comforting pose, along with the higher contrast of the stones along her back, The curve of her skin on the table/bed is also nice. The hair looks doctored, but I'll take the benifit of the doubt. The only improvement I can list, is the whole image looks desaturated. It's just missing a little bit of punch that I think would make the image better. Good luck.

I like the idea but there are a few dislikes. The contrast is too subdued for my taste and I'm not a fan of the "grainy" feel. The background and foreground seem to be dodged in and give your model a dark halo. It seems as if you are going for a "dreamy" feel on an image that looks more like a stock photography shot for a day spa. I think it's that conflict that doesn't do this image the justice it deserves.

I do like the texture you used in this photo, it works well with the props. However, I don't think you nailed the over the top appeal. Its still effective, and very pleasing to the eye.
