Beautiful coloring and nice expression on the dog's face, but it needs more lighting for it to really leap off the page. The right half of the dog falls into some shadow such that we don't get the same level of detail & hue as that of the left side. Even lighting across the dog's face will increase visual appeal and impact. That is the only weakness to the image that keeps it at an 8 where it could be in the 9-10's category. |
