Multiplicity. by Dan_CottleComment by nutzito: Dan,
The almost perfect non-intersecting and balanced paths of the pencils are truly amazing! The more I look at it the more I think how well executed it is...and more questions come to my mind to learn how to do this. I hope reading them does not bother you too much :-)
Given the technique you used it seems like it could take hundreds or thousands of shots to get one like this. It would be great if you could tell us how many shots, approx, did you take? Is this a cropped composition? If yes, did you crop to balance? or the black bg felt short?. Thanks for your time and patience.

Multiplicity. by Dan_CottleComment by Dan_Cottle: Hmm I geuss it was 25(or more) flashes not 20, i thought it was 20(my flash might be inaccurate or maybe its just me). The exposure was 1/4th of a second total, the flashes were milliseconds apart. The blue pencil just happened to be in the frame for all 25 flashes, the others were not.
Yes there was one light, however it flashes more than one time so i personally thought that it counted as multiple. If you don't think it meets the challenge then oh well. Message edited by author 2007-03-29 21:29:40. |

Is Shutter Speed mistyped? 20 flashes at 1/5th of a second - so the shutter should be open for 4 min, right? |

Multiplicity. by Dan_CottleComment by vincentM: Very nice picture !
It is a very good use of the stroboscopic flash !
I would never think about this !
There was however at least 26 flashes and not 20, as the blue pencil tells us ;)
I suppose that this comes from your shutter at 1/4th it gives 25 flashes at 100 hertz that's why.
Congratulations !
