This little guy has interesting colors. It looks almost like a small faded cardinal. Nice light and good detail in this. It's interesting that the branch has almost the same colors to the left of the bird.

Beautiful detail, great Depth of field. Love that he has tuned his head and is looking at you like that. Also like how the feathers on the head stand up.

He's talking as he flies!!!! Sometimes we see geese as they fly south. We have a duck pond near here and the kids like to go check out the different varieties. They even have a sign with all of the different species so they can differentiate them. Love the stop action of this.

Very nice , Jane - I love the speckles on the duck-the touchdown is as miraculous as the take-off in water birds I think. You got very good focus & clarity with this one :)
