I just saw this one and I guess some of the focus may have been off enough to bring your score lower than it should be. I found the shot very interesting and I love the solid black background and the crystal sheen of the water. It looks almost like ice. It is a very good try, and perhaps a bit less overexposure and better focus would have brought it up. Try higher shutter speed which means a higher iso. Also, if you used flash, you could tone it down by adjusting the flash meter to be more fill in rather than 100%

Try this... Crop tight on left to leave it less centered and tighter on the face maybe around the scarf height. More detail is better :) Good luck
