How did you ever get them to do this, or stay this way long enough to get a sharp picture. This is so good. I love it. Had trouble finding the 4th, then found his head and the other ones on top of it. For a minute I thought they were one. Great shot. You captured their color fantastically. I like everything about this. It's a 10. PTL

Bright light in the background could have been avoided. Good pose, the worker is directing attention to the yellow pump by framing it an looking at it.

Critique Club
Congrats on a well deserved 3rd place! I liked this photo for many reasons, and I think it was one of the best in the challenge.
Composition - the composition here is excellent! I love the bright red on this duck's head. I think it worked out very well and you got every part of him in the photo.
Color - Nice job... maybe slightly grey but extremely well done.
Background - the one thing that slightly bothers me is the color of the background as his wings kind of blend into it. Obviously since this was in the wild it couldn't be helped. Great DOF, love the plainness of the background. Very nice job.
Focus - the focus is maybe the teeniest bit soft, but almost unnoticably, I think this may be due to what looks like foggy, or thick weather.
Originality - this was one of the most original uses of motion for the challenge! I really liked it!
Fit for the challenge - PERFECT! This was an excellent show between still and motion, I really think it was wonderful. Excellent catch!

Overall fabulous job. This was definitely a winner! Congrats!

Shame about the light coming thru the door, but you got arund it pretty well. But it did make for a slightly dark photo. Not enough to hurt much though, I can still see the cowboy boots. Good focus and I understand the reason for the tight crop-the light. Not bad for less than good condition. Be a 7 from me. PTL
