A lot of beautiful submissions this challenge. This is one of them. The large image is even nicer than the already beautiful thumbnail. I would have guessed it to be a piece of fine jewelry or something due to the lovely tones. Great work. (9)

To me the focus on this just seems odd, it doesn't really create a good dof, it just seems out of focus to me. Call me crazy if you want:) I do like the color in this.

Very nice background, I have tried this for the Macro challenge with a Cyrix PR200MX, but couldn't find a nice background. This is.
Cool use of dof in combination with focus. Also blurs the background away in such a way that the attention stays in the front.
Nice toning. Good angle.
