There are a lot of great elements happening in this image. First the story and mood are outstanding. The flag is very dramatic visually and emotionally. Especially the struggle to emerge from the snow.The snow atop the gravestones is a very fitting touch. The blurred grey tombstones in the background further amplify the sombre ones in the midground. Personally to me this is more a patriotic message than technically aiming towards the theme of four. But that is a minor point not worth quibbling over.I was a little mean and took 1 point off because of this. My apologies for being Scrooge. This is an exceptional image that has both a first rate concept and impecable execution. 8

I like your photo very much. I was planning this too but with my hand and a red colour. You have manage very well. Good lighting and the "out of focus" doesn´t bother me at all. Good Luck!
