The Cold Wheelby YomiComment by PTLParsons: I love the little falls coming down from the right top to the bottome center. The motion there is the only proof that it is not frozen over. The wheel is a little dark. Would look better if it showed up more, since it is your subject. I like thei midnight blue color better than a black and white. But it is a little too dark. Lightened up it is a winner. Photo has nice focus and cropping. like your choice of color. |

The Cold Wheelby YomiComment by Allen: I like how this picture was done with a blue tint. The way the water is moving down the stream was also done very nice. Good Work |

The Cold Wheelby YomiComment by Silver Fox: Lovely photograph you've got here. Your slow shutter speed does wonders for the water from the little falls up on the right all the way down to the wheel. The natural lighting puts a very cool mood into the picture, and the background of the wooded area is not the slightest distracting. No matter where you look, the small water falls brings your eyes right back to the wheel. The detail that you've captured is great, right down to the ice on the rock beside the wheel and the stones on the bank. Slendid Photograph! |

The Cold Wheelby YomiComment by JamieWillmott: I like the blue cast on the image. A touch more exposure would be nice but then you risk blowing out the snow. Good picture though. |

The Cold Wheelby YomiComment by rmahan: The cold cyan color enhances this photo. The snow and the water are nice contrasts to the man-made waterwheel. I would tone down the whites some but that may just be my monitor. |

The Cold Wheelby YomiComment by Olyuzi: Like the composition and bluish cast that the picture has alot, but it appears a bit underexposed. I also like the compositional balance between the wheel and the brook. Contrast could be improved here as well. Is that a bluish tint or is this a straight on B&W picture? Also, how long did you expose it for? |
