I can't figure out how the pencil was done - interesting. (I'm being straight forward - NOT to offend) Personally, this is not very appealing. For me, the cropping is too big, there's so much going on here that the pencil is lost. I'm curious as to why the top of the fridge is in the shot. Perhaps I'm missing something.

Is that a roll of toilet paper at the top? lol. This is adorable. Definately has the aww factor in the pictures. The lighting is great. no distracting shadows or bright spots. You did a great job of keeping reflection and glare off the pictures and white board. I think I would have liked to see this fill the whole frame and be taken from straight above rather than at a slight angle. otherwise, great photo. Good luck in the challenge.

I like the idea here - it is a comfortable photo to me because of the familiy pictures, magnets and magnetic poetry/words. The part that bothers me is the composition of the shot. I would have prefered if the upper part of the picture(above the fridge) was not in the shot. Another little thing that bugged me was that the pencil covered the head of the girl in the photo on the left. If the picture was composed better I would have rated it higher - for now I give it a 5.

This is a neat image because it looks like the pencil is suspended in mid air... Subjectively, the image is a little 'busy' and keeps my eyes wondering around looking for something :) - jmsetzler

Would be better with a different angle, and a tighter crop to remove items(tp?) on top of the fridge and the picture at the bottom which is cut off. Picture is too busy the way it is. Lighting could also be improved.

Great idea, but angling the camera down farther to get just the refrigerator door and not the top of it may have made for a better shot.
