I think this is the first image of yours that I am not mad about. You had a great eye in seeing it, but I love your soft coloured images and this is very different ... looking at the image in your comments, I wonder if the left hand window, done in colour would be more what "you" ... but then who wants to be so predicatble? :-)

Those birches are HUGE! Its one of the trees that does not like our climate at all. There are a few small ones in gardens, but nothing like this. Stunning

Those are very tall birches. The ones I see here are less than half as tall, but fascinating trees. Poetic, with their white bark very attractive to the artist's eye. I think you did a great job of bringing this out & making it very attractive to look at. They are sparkling in the sunlight here.
