the soul of a waterfallby ursulaComment by Quigley: I think I can appreciate what you're going for here, however, was it necessary to blur the entire background? For me, I think it would've been nice to see some of the waterfall. |

on a day hikeby ursulaComment by fencekicker: I like the way you caught the sunlight filtering through the tree canopy and highlighting some leaves/ferns. The dirt of the trail has nice contrast against the green and leads my eyes along the journey. The angle of the hill adds to a sense of potential motion. The highlighted leaves on the tree at the very top left distract me though and I think the composition would have been even stronger if some of the top were cropped off. I like that there is a person in the photo, but I wish I could see a little more of him. Even with him more exposed, I don't think he would become the main subject and he would still blend in well with his camoflauged backpack. |

the soul of a waterfallby ursulaComment by Zoomdak: Nice use of the slow shutter effect with this waterfall while contrasting it against the plants in the foreground. I wish the waterfall didn't have such a muddy look but that isn't something you can control. What is the red dot in the upper right corner. Great shot. |
