However, it seems more like camera movement with sharpness from flash, rather than tracking of the subject. For motion panning, don't use your flash. Using flash will freeze an instant and you will loose the separation of the subject from the motion-blurred background.

	reaching for a touch of glory by qwharton Comment by jorr: Motion panning is suposed to be used to show the motion of the subject, with a sharp focus on the subject and a blur to the background caused by moving the camera, I just do not see that here
