Balloon Knotby 2mccsComment by ltlmschrisss: I like the clarity and the texture you can see on the surface. I like the red, but I feel that the green in the balloon could have been adjusted to compliment it more and brighten it up a bit. |

Red Rock Canyonby 2mccsComment by Denise: interesting to see this in B&W but I think it works, helps the detail in the landscape more interesting |

Red Rock Canyonby 2mccsComment by glad2badad: Looks like a nice place to visit, especially with a camera in hand. :-) The B&W conversion works well. I'm trying to figure out if some things were done in post that are influencing my first impression. Looks like some details are smudged/blurred a tad, like a noise reduction program was applied? If not, then the focal point is the bottom right area (adjoining dark hill is sharpest). The plants in the foreground and mid-foreground seem like they could be more detailed? Then the sky looks like it was plugged in as a new layer or something (I know it wasn't...just the appearance). I say that because of the sharp line of separation at the top of the dark hill and the slight blurring of the sky and contrail.
I could be totally off base in my observations. If so, please accept my apologies in advance. Good luck in the challenge. |
