I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: This is flat out gorgeous, dreamy and abstract but with enough form and compositional structure to communicate effectively. The coloration is pretty too.

Critical stuff: Nothing at all.

Overall: The sort of image one hopes to find in a Free Study.

Achingly lovely. For all the dramatic presence of the major shapes, I also enjoyed the whispered details in the foreground and at the horizon, and the economical horizontal streaks. Top three for me.. Thank you.

The idea behind the Posthumous Ribbon is to encourage you to break the rules, to find new and different ways to express yourself.
