ETA: just found an imagery of the loyal assistant, as depicted by the young Tim Burton. I prefer the subtlety of your find better.

Like a charcoal drawing - beautifully integrated portrait in this exercise but the expression remains somehow random, due to the medium. I like a lot the contour of the head. I would have cropped half of the face (the man's right eye) and left the right side with the background.
In any case, I find this shot like a breath of fresh air in this challenge.

This is almost like a photocopy of another low quality photocopy; insanely noisy, contrast is too dark, no point of focus, seemingly no real thought to composition and the apparent point of interest isn't even really legible. I can just about make out a face but the quality of this image is so low I feel I can't give higher than the minimum vote, sorry.
