Nature's Revengeby nroscoeComment by Falc: A difficult shot to do well. The dynamic range goes from very bright sun to very deep shadows. Unfortunately neither end of the scale has been adequately captured. Blown highlights and to a lesser extent shadows with no detail.
This may have been aided by the use of a ND Grad filter. |

Nature's Revengeby nroscoeComment by cresus: The orange on the ground here looks really fake for some reason. It's strangely pixelated. I'm not sure if it actually looked like this or if it was an overdone saturation. |

The Lookoutby nroscoeComment by robs: Might work a little better if the tower were off to one side. Reminds me, I should take a wander up there when there is snow on the ground (only a few minutes away). |

The Lookoutby nroscoeComment by AzCKelly: Nice picture, the sky is a bit blown but a nice affect, also would like to see this a bit more to the left or right, that would really make this one stronger. The subject is fantastic. |

The Lookoutby nroscoeComment by UNTITLED: You chose a very difficult photo for the backlighting. Get the deatil in the tower and lose the sky, or get the sky and lose the detail. You did a pretty good job of finding the middle ground. I think framing the photo so that the tower was to one side or the other would make the photo more dynamic and give it better balance. |
