Gravityby posthumousComment by K3Master: Very nice! I was actually considering carving an Apple IIe out of an actual apple, but then realized what kind of work that would entail, and thought better of it. I really love the color contrast you have going on here, with the organic colorization in the apple (flesh and blood), with the almost industrial feel of the surface/background. Fantastic. |

Enduresby posthumousComment by Quigley: Hello Chief how's it going? I liked your shot in voting and have done the same thing you did when I got my new glass last year. I was able to bring up out the bokeh a lot by adjusting the exposure and saturation as well as the blacks and found the shot had more pop to it. That's what I thought was missing from this shot was the enhanced background. Otherwise as I first said I liked your photo.
All the best to you and yours.

Gravityby posthumousComment by geinafets: I think side lighting might have brought out the face a bit better. The background would have worked better with a smoother subject. As it is, I think the two textures compete for attention. |

Gravityby posthumousComment by toddhead: Normally the browning of the apple would take away from the shot, but I think it adds to it with the background you have. |

Gravityby posthumousComment by dswann: If you carved this face (I assume it is Newton) - awesome job!! Very clever idea. |
