Drowningby posthumousComment by yanko: "Hue/sat and photo filter to make the sea blue." WTF??? Ok this ruined it for me. Too lazy to die the freak'n paper? Have you even looked at your camera's manual? You do know there's a white balance button, right? Perhaps if you put in some effort you would have scored at least a 5.0. Drowningby posthumousComment by pointandshoot: The twisted, agonizing sculpture alone is worth a 10. Placing the 3-dimensional man on the 2-dimensional graph paper increases the appeal. It makes me wonder if he realizes he is drowning. Maybe he is symbolic of the primitive condition of man and his limited knowledge of other dimensions. You have used the 3-dimensional creatures, entering the second dimension (or vice-versa), to cleverly tie the whole universe together. Wonderful creation. flutterbyby posthumousComment by Teafran: Abstract in it's execution, there are two ways to view this image - negatively in the sense that it's undetailed and in no way, from a strict interpretation standpoint, indicates motion or the effects of motion. On the other hand, it's very abstract nature is indicative of motion and the colors and motion blue give it a certain feel, as it related to the challenge subject, that is a plus. In this kind of quandry, and given this reviewer's propensity to positively rate abstract images, the benefit of the doubt goes to the author. The blend of color and background are complimentary which is an artistic plus and can be viewed as a technical plus. Not necessarily to everyone's taste, this might break into the top twenty and possibly the top fifteen images if the commenters and reviewers give it chance by understanding the nature of impressionist imagery. |

flutterbyby posthumousComment by purpleflutterby13: I'm in love with this picture (and not just because of the username either :p)
Artistic and beautifully soft, yet bursting with colour - the sort of thing I wouldn't mind hanging up on my wall. |
