Hello from the Critique Club!!

I am not sure why I joined the Critique Club when all I seem to get are these amazing shots. It is making my job very hard.

I love the mood that you have set with the blacks and whites. The grain really pops out and brings out more details on the building and especially the door. The different textures you have going on here are splendid. THe buttery white of the goat, is in excellent contrast to the rest of the shot.

The ISO being at 400 helped along with the SP setting. The only thing is I would crop just a tad bit off teh top of your shot so that the full attention is on the goat and his surrounding area. There is too much black at the top and I am searching for details there.

I can see this in a shop selling like hotcakes, well done!

This is as good as goat-shooting gets. Give yourself a red ribbon.

What a joke. This is sooo underrated. I love everything about it. So much for an artful eye around here huh?

Sorry but I don´t really like this shot, I have never liked abstract shots where I am not sure what I am looking at and this definately is one, there is no one spot that draws my attention, my eye wanders all over the shot and to me it´s just a mess.

Congrats Don. When we lived in Indiana I entered the state fair and it is such a rush to find out you got a ribbon. I've just never thought about the NJ State Fair. Gotta keep that in mind for next year.
Congrats on the well-deserved ribbon.

Yeah, definitely captured spooky feeling. I wonder how long it took him to create that hole in the door!

Probably my favourite in this challenge. You do this thing with animals and edifice orifices, downright spooky, kid.
