Actually, my dad made napkin puppets. All the time... I see the old dude. I like the offered librarian conceit very much. I can handle childhood as well, never having quite left mine. Well seen, as usual :-)

You got robbed. This was one of my 10's. Wonderful play of light and shadow. I wasn't sure what he was supposed to looking at, however. It looked to me like a librarian poring over an old book.

I think I really would have liked to have seen this without all the extra stuff in the bottom 1/3. I think the face and lighting is intriguing but it has to compete with that extra paper - which to me does not really add too much to the scene.

Great elements with the extreme contrast of the white giving way to pure black only broken by the reflections leading to the horizon. Looks like a little noise but I really like the image. 9
