winningby posthumousComment by ubique: Originally posted by h2: snapshot or badly composed? Only thing in focus is the top of the chair, contrast is too high, your foot is in the frame; posthumous will probably call it art. |
It was all worth it just for that imperishable comment from Captain Obvious. Congrats! |

winningby posthumousComment by De Sousa: The idea behind the Posthumous Ribbon is to encourage you to break the rules, to find new and different ways to express yourself. To free your mind to think clearly toward the solution that is certain to come, to laugh at world and at life, not doing what others are expecting you to do, but just following and listening to what's in your heart. DPC it’s a wonderful learning place where everyone should be supported on their way to be a photographer. A special attention should be aimed to those working hard with different views and approaches to photography, those not aligned with the mainstream taste and receiving no recognition. It’s our responsibility to support these photographers creating diversity and expressing different visions. Being active at the Posthumous thread it’s the best way to do it. Being active at the Posthumous thread it’s the best way to protect your and the other’s freedom of being different. Thanks for taking the time to enter this challenge. Stay wild. |

cattailsby posthumousComment by Abra: I’ve come backed to look at this shot as it’s so very interesting and I’m bumping my original vote as it appeals to me more every time I see it. |

winningby posthumousComment by Paul: My favourite of the challenge. One of two tens given on my first pass.
The POV, takes us right into the scene - I particularly like your leg at the bottom of the frame. The high contrast works very well indeed and the blur is fascinating and slightly Lensbabyish.
Then there is the story the image tells - I can't tell if he is just stood over her (?) or sat on her and what are the things in their hands anyway??
Overall this has a cinematic feel that I really enjoy. Enough to fav it. |
