followby posthumousComment by bvy: Stirring. Almost unsettling. The bisecting pole is a stroke of crazy genius. |

followby posthumousComment by Paul: I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: The boldness of the wooden support column works so well - almost (but importantly not quite) takes the viewer's attention away from the animal. I really like the blur too (Lensbaby?) and the way the lighting catches the highlights on the underside of the sheep.
Critical stuff: I kind of wish the top right corner was black.
Overall: Unusual and interesting. |

agelightby posthumousComment by hihosilver: Then, why do I feel the weight of gravity far more today than when I was 20?!
This singularity of light must be reserved only for dead poets who have passed beyond the grave...;-) Message edited by author 2011-07-06 11:36:00. |
