I think you could have had nice lighting that showed us his doubtless handsome face and still used this idea, especially if you had been able to find a perspective that put the family portrait a bit more above him. |

natureby posthumousComment by sidpixel: What an unusual image, that makes it appealing straightaway, I do like the dogs back end and his tail the way it flows into the frame but I am less happy with the bough and the way it dominates the whole image, I would much prefer this without the bough and just the dog against the leaf litter |

overshadowedby posthumousComment by Purple_Girl: Quite a few issues with this image unfortunately which make it a low-scorer for me; the pic needs to be rotated somewhat to the right, the skewed stair rails look odd and without rotation, the angle the boy is standing at looks odd too. The image is quite noisy. The light on the right side of the shot is quite harsh compared to the dull light on the other side. Hardly any detail visible on the boy's face. I like the general idea and the title but that's about it I'm afraid. |
