throughby posthumousComment by pixelpig: I didn't recognize the walking figure right away, I was enjoying the shapes & shadows. She seems to be towing her bit of environment behind her as she hurries on to the next thing. In roving around the image, I noticed the upper L & R corners as non-contributing details. |

moon in the manby posthumousComment by Paul: I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Smooth blur but with a great sense of texture too - that works. The subtle coloration is effective too - I hope you try that more often. The double mouth makes the image - it acts as an anchor to the rest of your face - otherwise there's a sense it may float away like a moonward weather balloon.
Critical stuff: Not really
Overall: Effective - ghostly without being creepy. Message edited by author 2012-11-09 13:35:23. |
