I like the coloring of the photo, but the photo lacks overall interest to me.
This doesn't seem fitting for Lord of the Flies to me. Just a photo of a kid in the woods holding sticks.

A six for you. I'm feeling generous. I love the movie (though I've never gotten all the way through the book) so maybe I'm a tad biased. The boy should be bare-chested, have war paint, and be carrying something more intimidating than a branch for this to really work. I do like the sepia treatment, the bokeh.

Have seen this book 3 or 4 times now, to me this is the best image to represent it. Love the light coming through the trees, the expression on the boy's face. Bump!

Great idea. One finishing touch that would have put it over the top for me is some dirt on him (hands, arms, face). Looks too freshly scrubbed for the story theme. Still an 8 from me. Nicely done!
