This skittish image, aside from the calm spray of leaves in the lower right corner, took awhile to settle into coherence. The multitude of tiny leaves on the left transitioned through the somewhat larger rocks of the wall into those large, well-defined leaves on the right. I see the highlit tree in the wall's opening as your spirit passing out into the sunlight, as a new life beckons. Black and white is a fine choice, yet this photograph seems full of color. And what a strong title. I'm happy for your beautiful passage.

abstract smoke whiffs remind me of sketch paper from the seventies in the basement, made all the more important by the water stains.
