This cracks me up every time I see it. The funniest part is that Gracie will hardly move her body - she just reaches with her eyes - what a drama queen! Actually, here she reminds me of Harpo Marx.

Greetings from the unofficial Reaction Club

At first, this is just a picture. Look at it a bit longer, and it's a child's view. Even longer and what I notice is the sunlight and shadow on the wall within the room, which looks somewhat sterile and empty, and *that* is where the story would begin were I an adept storyteller. This one I might like in black and white.

Greetings from the unofficial Reaction Club

I'm coming back to this one because it fascinates me. I don't know what the subject is and I don't have any desire to try to figure it out either. I think that's probably the sign of a well done abstract. I like it (as I said before) for the calmness within the appearance of disorder, the colors, and the lines. And while I'm definitely a lines/curves kinda person, I'm usually a black and white person - so bonus points for making the color integral to this presentation.

dull...:)

secretly think the shadow is cool, makes me think of a Teddy Bear...
reminds me of when I took a Pet Portrait shot...my dog too is black...no matter what I do I can't succeed in really getting a shot of her that really captures everythig about her like I can with my kids...and that is what I see here, or rather don't see...the dog, but with even the contrast you have, I don't get to know her...ok when I have more time I am going to venture through some of your pet shots and learn from you, because I think with the one I looked at through the window, you were on to something...

crap I couldn't just stick to dull...

You're being plenty sensitive... Gracie's an old dog, after all. Now I'm going to cry whenever I see this picture, dammit!

Uh-oh, a pissed-off poodle! Love the expression; might burn out those last few dots on the upper right.
