Dawn of the Deadby posthumousComment by noraneko: Wooooo, nice and spooky. I think I prefer this post-process job. Sometimes I really love blown highlights and bizarre photoshop work. |

The Strange Musical Life of the Honey Moonby posthumousComment by jaysonmc: This is a great photo as it conveys a ton of thought and emotion. I like the setup, the colors, and patterns. I think I would enjoy the noise more if it was more the luminance type rather than the chroma type, but great effort. I'll actually need to vote in the contests you are in sometime, rather than after the fact. |

I too am a rare patternby posthumousComment by jaysonmc: This is a wonderful composition. It breaks some of the traditional rules (head/feet cut off), but actually works for the better I think. Nice tonal range. Alas though I have feeling most of the low scores was the lack of impact on the pattern. I think it is great myself, but there is always a set notion with voters. |

Brother Fence, Sister Stickby posthumousComment by agenkin: "Too dark" - I love those easy-to-expect comments. Tune your monitors, people, there's plenty of detail in this image.
As for the image, I think that I see why you wanted to photograph this. But, to me, this isn't working compositionally. I cannot articulate what I don't like about it, though - it's very hard in this kind of images. |

Brother Fence, Sister Stickby posthumousComment by gjumi: As far as I can see in my computer, a great processing tribute.
As for the story, I think this is an interesting study/play with form, line, shape and levels of gray, but I don´t read more than that. I think the title is supposed to come from those fairy-tales of Brother Sun and Sister Moon (or, is it the other way?), but I can´t link it to this photo.
The fence looks masculine, as if with arms opened and ready to protect a feminine, bending, vulnerable stick, but I feel that´s too much of a mind-stretching... |

Engulfment Hazardby posthumousComment by bucket: you really have processed this perfectly...the yellows are harsh, and that bridge that is drawing me in almost gives me a bit nauseous feeling...
all that and Larus doesn't like it...what could be better? |
