A Walk In The Cloudsby posthumousComment by kdkaboom: yaknow, the clouds look great! it's the...THING...doing the walking that i don't particularly like. it does look turdish, yo (no, not turkish) and pooped from some sort of bipedal-turd-makin' animal. or someone took the time to pose some poo. not so yummy now, is it bitch? i really didn't know what i was lookin at so i voted this low. sorry brutha! i think a more recognizable foody would work - maybe a two-legged carrot or parsnip? standing tall by using fishing line? not sure, bro...but i think your idea is cool, just not the tumor...er, tuber. root. whatev.
cheerios! :)

Driving Conditionsby posthumousComment by dsterner: I recognize the rain/snow fall (?) element, but the photo seems really busy and whatever weather element is falling, the right side is distracting. |

The Touchby posthumousComment by jaysonmc: That is some crazy depth of field! Looks like just the brush is in focus, curious how long it took you to setup that shot. I'd get frustrated after 5 minutes. I love the minimal use of color tones in this one: brown, white, and skin tones. Was there intentional motion blur? Just curious how you got the lines on the back of the page to move like that. I like the techinque nonetheless. Nice capture.
P.S. - Awesome final product (of your leopard). |

The Touchby posthumousComment by bmartuch: Very nice shot Don. You rolled a combination of two challenges into one and covered both of them nicely. I really like the way the sleeve fades back. |

The Touchby posthumousComment by Melethia: Very nice, Don! And this would have been a great entry for SDOF as well. Quite like the simplicity, softness, and desaturatedness of this. Bordering on normal for a shot from you, though, which is just a wee bit scary. |
