a question about fallingby posthumousComment by jaysonmc: ISO 400 with a tripod, makes me chuckle. Like the thought out technique of reversing your lens. This is actually a very cool photo. The textures of the leaf edges are enhanced by the two tone palette. It creates a nice serene mood. I'm actually surprised this did not score in the sixes. I would have given you a 7 myself. |

Beaconingby posthumousComment by HeiSch: I find it hard to comment on this picture. It took me a long while to see the child. There are so many lines criss-crossing in the shot that the viewer quickly gets lost, nothing to hold on to. May be if the child dropped something like a stuffed animal or so. Then there would be a story to tell. |

Beaconingby posthumousComment by h2: contrast is too high and the kid is just too small and too far at right side to make for an interesting subject |

Beaconingby posthumousComment by jonfrommk: Lovely B&W conversion and quite a haunting picture. The hand stretching through the railings seems very plaintive (almost as if it is stretching out to either stop a parent leaving or grasping for a balloon that has slipped from its grasp.
