A Prayer Before Jumpingby posthumousComment by Melethia: I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to vote this challenge - it seems to hold a lot of gems. I note that Michelle didn't like the branches - I rather think they fit very well, they serve to show a fractured view of what one would assume (given the title) is a fractured soul. I also see you're into masking these days - a skill I need to learn, I suppose. Works well with the warmth of the leaves against the coldness of the sky. |

no more through youby posthumousComment by pointandshoot: This would be a great setting for many themes, but is also a wonderful photo that can stand on it's own without props. Also, nice job on the (not too much) sharpening.
The engineering logic behind the construction of the door makes me think an interesting person once lived there.
You have not truly abused that lens until you consistantly use it for your ultra wide-angle landscape shots. Once attached, it is a difficult lens to remove. |
