holding what you cannot reachby posthumousComment by pointandshoot: You peaked pretty early in the 2008 season - you realize, of course, there is only one direction to go from here. Congratulations on the well deserved blue. Now you know how us mortals feel when we get a Posthumous ribbon. |

The Seat of Tearsby posthumousComment by krnodil: I think you got the focus spot-on here. Makes me want to bawl right along with him. :) And as for soft focus, did you ever try to focus your eyes when you're weeping? Do things look pin-sharp then? You have helped us see through his eyes. |

angry kitty ready for a scratch your eyesby posthumousComment by colorcarnival: I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but my preference is actually the original photo. There's something particularly spooky in that one with it looking like the kitty is ready to leap at you. This one it looks like kitty is ready to scratch out the carpet. Nice imitation of color tho! |

shadowkids-025.jpgby posthumousComment by pawdrix: Wow...the almost absolute lack of movement is a little unsettling. I wonder what this boy is thinking but the stillness could be saying it all. I really want a smile ...a splash ...the sound of a child enjoying the water. But no... |

angry kitty ready for a scratch your eyesby posthumousComment by amandalore: very cool that you kept the colors the same as the original - i think you could have gotten sharper focus maybe with a faster shutter speed or more light - great composition... it must have been tough to get your cat to stay in one spot long enough for a quick snap |
