i was told early on not to look thru the viewfinder when using a dslr as the sun can really do damage to your eyes .. now i use mirrorless a lot of the time and i've heard that the sun cant damage your eyes when looking thru the viewfinder using mirrorless .. i do believe the former .. but the latter i'm not totally sure of ..
even with that knowledge i did look thru the viewfinder pointing at the sun when using my dslr .. there are some shots you just have to get .. ;)
i'm not blind .. but i may be lucky ..
i rather like this shot .. and its perfect for the challenge .. its actually hurting my eyes looking at it .. :)

Beautifully conveys the untethered landscape of dreams. The amorphous creature to the left, the nightmarish entity, nicely blends into the undergrowth, like a cranial x-ray revealing a wilderness of synapses. Time to wake up.
