Couldn't make up my mind about a 5 or an 8, so forgot to vote. The landscape aspect here is kind of evasive, but the framing and the the bright patch of trees, with its textures, colors, lines and charming harmony are quite compelling. So, despite the votes, deserving of enjoyment and appreciation. Hope I wouldn't have copped out to a 6, but forged ahead with my initial impression.

Well seen! My eye constantly looks at this capture to figure out which is up and which is down. The line of trees lulls one into thinking that it is above ground but then on closer look the leaves in the water and shadow reflection of one tree in the water are above the trees. The 'sky' and trees have changed places in this captivating photo. My only suggestion on how to possibly improve on the photo is to increase the contrast between light and shadows to make it visually pop a bit more.
