Keeping Love Aliveby skewsmeComment by talmy: Poor Alfred died in 1908, but his wife isn't beside her, but is presumably dead after 135 years. You probably should have picked another tombstone, but I think it is a good idea and the desaturation of all but the red (flower) is touching. |

Keeping Love Aliveby skewsmeComment by shamrock: Lovely shot, unusual for a "romance" challenge. Very interesting to note there is no date of death for the wife. Since she didn't live to be 135, i wonder if she married again and was buried elsewhere. Kinda kills the enduring love angle... |

Keeping Love Aliveby skewsmeComment by Alain: This is a good idea and picture. IMO opinion, if Margaret is not there, it's simply because she did fall in love with somebody else, she was only in her 30's when Alfred passed away. Good luck. |

Keeping Love Aliveby skewsmeComment by m: Keeping Love Alive ... for 97 years past his death? (1871-). I guess she was buried elsewhere.
Not a fan of selective desat, but I can't hold that against the picture. |

Landscapeby skewsmeComment by agenkin: You probably mean the landscape reflected in the eye of this... animal (don't understand who this is. I would zoom in more and just present the eye with the reflection in the frame. The stuff on the right hand side is distracting. |

Landscapeby skewsmeComment by Xilebo: The eye sure became a window to the world, not an excellent shot but the candid makes up for some faults.. |

They stocked the creek!by skewsmeComment by KarenNfld: Not that this will affect how I score your photo, but I have to point out the red lobster. Live lobsters aren't red, they get red after they are cooked. So your creek would be stocked with cooked lobsters which go bad really really quickly, so not much of a fantasy. Good luck with your entry! |
